When you want to make your branding photos a statement piece, you make a statement.

I absolutely loved this Branding and Headshot session with Emily. It proved to me just how much emotion and edge you can pull out of a single person, one on one in the studio. My approach to any branding session is to tell the story you’re ready to tell - in emotion, tone, pose, vibe, and every nitty gritty detail. In branding sessions especially, outfits matter. Hair and makeup matters. The backdrop colors we use matter. It all ties together as a cohesive brand story, communicating to your customer your vibe, feel, and personality.

For Emily in particular, we wanted a sexy, emotive, modern story of a woman in hold of her power. Keeping tones classic and clean, we worked with very simplistic backgrounds, letting the focus hone in on every gorgeous detail of her. We used light in particular to translate a deep depth and mystery, and I absolutely loved the results. So inspired by the variety and beauty we were able to capture with such simple elements in the frame. It’s all about how you see things my friend, and the stories you’re open to telling. And man, I can’t wait to tell more.
