Holly’s vision for her wedding day with Jason was an intimate, but elevated backyard affair. Getting married at Jason’s family property in Bangor, PA, they found a location that certainly fit the bill. Beautiful farmlands with rolling hills and wispy grasses, and a view of the mountains surrounding us at the very top. OH! And there were cows. There were definitely cows.

When I think of “elevated” as it pertains to backyard weddings, I truly feel like it’s all in the details. Holly & Jason filled their gorgeous tent with all the meaningful pieces you’d find at any venue - tables celebrating their story, a modern backdrop of greenery at their head table, a dessert table FULL of delicious goodies, and stations ready for photo ops with all their guests. Their decor was classic, white, and timeless traditional with a modern edge. Because they were so familiar and comfortable in their surroundings, it was easy to flow in and out of their day - taking time for photos while still keeping the schedule comfortable and carefree. That’s one of the joys of calling the shots on your own day - you’re not married to any iron tight schedule, nor do you have to be mindful of any picky venue or coordinator. It’s truly ALL up to you.

The intimacy and beauty of Holly & Jason’s day kicked off our 2023 season, and we’ll carry that inspiration with us as the year continues. We truly serve the most intentional, thoughtful couples, and I can’t wait to continue on with our season as we celebrate with many more!
